Apogee Public Relations is a partnership of husband & wife team Shawn and Sue Hall.  

Shawn has worked as a journalist, corporate communicator, and consultant for more than 30 years, giving him powerful insight into how people respond to information, how to identify and speak to audiences, and how to effectively develop and tell your story. He’s worked as a newspaper reporter and editor, and written thousands of articles. He’s communicated through a strike, a flood, and protests. He’s taken on a New York hedge fund and managed financial disclosure in media at one of Canada’s largest technology and communications firms. He’s handled communication for contentious lawsuits. He has interviewed with media hundreds of times, and trained numerous spokespeople.  

Sue has a background in commerce and technology with business consulting firms, giving her a breadth of insight into companies’ needs and how to make it happen. One of her first clients with Apogee nicknamed her the VP of getting things done - and that's exactly what she does. She manages social media channels and website content, handles media release distribution, places sponsored content, and has a flare for media monitoring and reporting.
